Installing Ubuntu/Linux on Lenovo Ideapad 100 Series!!

I have no idea if this goes against the rules and if it does I apologize. The main reason I'm posting this here is for others like me that couldn't find a definite solution to installing Ubuntu on a Lenovo Ideapad (Specifically the 110s).
The 110s is a great cheap laptop, but of course Windows slows it down to a halt. Eventually it got to a point where I didn't have enough space on the laptop to install an update for Windows. So, after weeks of searching for a solution, I somehow by luck managed to install Linux Mint on it. I have no clue how, though. That was about 4 months ago. Fast forward to about a week and a half ago. Out of nowhere, Linux Mint decided it wasn't going to boot up. I have no clue why this happened, and unfortunately I managed to screw up the computer even more by trying random solutions left and right. Now onto why I made this post
