Distro Recommendations for New User Bored of Ubuntu

So I'm pretty new to Linux. There's always been an appeal to me but only decided to make the switch on my HP laptop a few weeks ago. I've tried multiple Distros (Linux Mint 19.1, Elementary OS 5 Juno, Ubuntu 18.10 and Pop!_OS 18.10) and all have been Ubuntu based. I am comfortable with the Ubuntu-based Distros as troubleshooting is super easy but none of them have blown me away and have all been somewhat boring. I have been eyeing off Manjaro but Arch Linux is somewhat intimidating for a noob like me. Has anyone got any recommendations for something a little less boring?
