Mic not working after Driver update

Hello everyone,
So i updated all of my out-of-date drivers, and right after i did that my mic does make any sound.
Ive searched all over the internet for a fix, ive tried everything and nothing works.
ive tried to use other mics and they dont work either..
I do have a razerr kraken 5.1, its a usb mic and it works perfectly fine, but i really love my new RIG headset. (it only has one input so i bought an adapter)(Mic doesnt work when adapter is in and out).
My krakens are sorta broken and every 10mins ill get no audio for about 1min, so its really annoying.
